What we collect

Two things, both minimal.

Search terms. When you search, the query and the number of results are recorded without anything that identifies you. We use this to find out which codes people look for that we have not explained well enough. There is no account system on this site and nothing to attach a query to.

Aggregate traffic statistics. We use Statcounter to count visits and see which pages are read. It records the usual technical details a web server sees — page address, referring page, browser and approximate location from your IP address.

What we do not do

There are no accounts, no newsletter, no advertising network, and no tracking pixels from advertisers. We do not sell or share anything, because there is nothing to sell or share. We do not ask for your name, your email address, or anything about your dental treatment.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies for its own features. Statcounter may set one to avoid counting the same visitor twice. Blocking it costs you nothing — every page works identically.

Your data elsewhere

Pages here link to dental practices, insurers and professional bodies. Once you follow a link you are on their site under their privacy terms, not ours.
