Fees are ranges, not quotations

Fee figures on this site are typical private fees in the United States before insurance. They vary enormously by region, by practice and by the specifics of the individual case. They are published to help you recognise an unusual quote, not to tell you what anything costs. Only your practice can quote you, and only your insurer can tell you your own share.

Insurance information is general

Coverage descriptions here reflect how dental plans commonly behave. Your own plan is a contract with its own categories, percentages, frequency limits, waiting periods, annual maximum, missing-tooth clause and alternate-benefit terms. Where this site and your plan booklet disagree, your plan booklet is correct. For anything expensive, ask for a pre-treatment estimate before treatment rather than after.
